Further there is the question of the sustainability of the earth--ie the extent to which it is to be passed on to future generations in a condition equal or better than in the present. Students get to keep copies of the magazines they create and share their magazines and find out what was unique about each one. Children develop and hone communication skills as they work together to write and publish stories.
